Some predictions for 2011:

1. Kerby Raymundo would be traded by B-Meg.

2. Rain Or Shine will hire a new coach as Coach Caloy Garcia would be either sacked or "kicked upstairs" to accommodate another coach that can generate the respect from their resident stars, Gabe Norwood and Sol Mercado.

3. The PBA will lend at least 5 players to the national team for the 2011 FIBA-Asia tournament.

4. Marlou Aquino will retire at the end of this season.

5. Barako Energy Coffee Masters will fold up at the end of the season and their franchise would be bought by Maynilad Water, paving the way for MVP to own three franchises in the league. Norman Black would be appointed head coach.

6. Rabeh Al-Husseini and Nonoy Baclao would be traded to a MVP team when the season ends.

7. At least 3 SMART-Gilas players would be joining the PBA draft for the 2011-2012 season.

8. Commissioner Chito Salud will be recognized as a no-nonsense PBA head and will become more "powerful" compared to his predecessors, Bernardino, Eala and Barrios.

9. There will be at least 3 balik-imports to reinforce their teams in the coming conference.

10. Groundbreaking ceremonies would be held this year for the billion-peso PBA Coliseum which will finally see its fruition come 2013.

11. TV5 will secure the PBA coverage rights from Solar Sports at the start of the 2nd conference and will have a 5-year deal with the league.

12. Willie Miller will be shipped to B-Meg to shore up their guard ranks in a three-way trade.

13. Robert Jaworski, Sr.'s jersey #7 will finally be retired officially and will be raised in the rafters. His former colleagues and players will show up in the retirement ceremony to be presided by Salud.

14. Ricardo Brown will come up with his book - a biography of the very first Fil-Foreign player ever to play in the PBA.

15. Alaska will be involved in a blockbuster trade.

16. Powerade will continue to be an also-ran team and wouldn't make it to the semifinal round for the next two conferences.

17. Chot Reyes would be retained as head coach of TNT if the Tropang Texters win the AFC title.

18. Meralco would further shore up their lineup by getting another scorer to back up Mac Cardona.

19. Coach Yeng Guiao will resign as Air 21 head coach at the end of the season but will most likely reappear to handle another PBA team. And it won't be a SMC team. The most probable would be ROS or Powerade.
