Adamson-led Freego Jeans looks to lock a win in front of its home crowd as it faces PC Gilmore at 4 p.m., while Max! Bond Super Glue takes on Cafe France in the first game at 2 p.m.

Freego Jeans only got help from Eric Camson and Roider Cabrera as it lost its first outing against North Luzon Expressway (NLEX), 82-71, last March 15.

But Freego is expected to be challenged by PC Gilmore in this Group A match-up, as the Wizards had RnW Pacific Pipes earn its 76-72 win in the opening game of the league last March 12.

Carlo Lastimosa, Jam Cortes, Mike Parala and John Agas led the offensive attack with a total of 54 points for PC Gilmore, although it still fell short against RnW Pacific Pipes.

Like Freego, Max! Bond Super Glue and Cafe France also came from lopsided losses in their opening games in Group B.

The Sumos were thumped by Maynilad, 82-61, last March 22, while Cafe France was drubbed by Cebuana Lhuillier, 83-62, in their March 17 encounter.

Majority of the players of the Sumos are from University of Santo Tomas, but it was former Far Eastern University stalwart Reil Cervantes and former Philippine Patriot Jun Jun Cabatu who led the way with 21 and 13 points respectively against the Water Dragons.

Leeward Lubaton, ex-National University player Jewel Ponferrada and Ildefonson Bulangis Jr. produced for Cafe France with a combined 38 points, but the Centro Escolar University-backed team needed more from the rest of its players.
