Reyes said the Llamados are capable of bouncing back in Game 2, and in the series for that matter, so he told the Tropang Texters to continue to push hard in their next games.

‘’This B-MEG squad can find ways to come back and we need to keep our focus,’’ said Reyes.

‘’I told the players before the series started that they (Llamados) are the defending champions and they are not going to lie down easily. They will fight back and we need to continue fighting hard and maintain our level of play.’’

Even with a one-and-a-half week break, Reyes doesn’t want his team to take it easy. His Tropang Texters are still practicing hard to make sure there would be no letdown when it comes to their conditioning and fluidity.

‘’Unfortunately, we have to take a break. We would love to continue playing. But it’s up to us now to make sure that we stay sharp in this break. We can’t relax even for a bit.’’

Reyes added that the break will also work on the Llamados’ favor since this would give their ailing players to recover and get back in shape.

‘’The break would give their injured players like Roger Yap and Rafi Reavis to recover and be ready, but it is what it is, so we just have to do what we need to do in practice and be ready.’’
