Though he wouldn't count the older Mosley out just yet.

"Manny will beat Shane Mosley. Mosley is very good but Manny will take over after the fourth or fifth round," Khan told INQUIRER.net

"Manny will win by TKO around the eighth."

The five-foot-10 Briton, who will defend his WBA title against Paul McCloskey of Ireland this April 16, cited Pacquiao's several advantages against Mosley.

"Manny has the speed, power and has a great chin and he has Freddie Roach in the corner," praised Khan.

Pacquiao, the odds-on favorite, started his training last week here and will continue until April 2 before moving to Roach's Wild Card Gym for the crucial stretch of his eight-week preparation.

The Saranggani representative will again give up the height advantage to the five-foot-nine Mosley but will be seven years younger.

However, Pacquiao still has to be wary of Mosley, who can still pack a punch despite being on the tailend of his stellar career.

"Shane Mosley still has a lot of power," said Khan.

The 39-year-old Mosley hasn't tasted triumph since January of 2009 when he defeated Antonio Margarito via technical knockout.

But Mosley is a proven winner with three titles in three different weight classes and Khan knows it won't be a walk in the park for the pound-for-pound king.

"No (if it's an easy fight for Pacquiao), there is no easy fight, I think it will be a tough one," said Khan.
